We provide high-quality, compassionate care—whether you prefer the comfort of a secure online space or in-person sessions.
At The Change Room, our goal is to be your anchor: a safe, supportive place where you can explore, regulate, recognize, release, and renew the patterns shaping your life.
By integrating the most up-to-date psychotherapy approaches with modern coaching techniques—and, when appropriate, hypnotherapy—Sam will guide you step by step toward becoming your most authentic self, free from the maladaptive patterns that have been holding you back.

A little bit about our Founder
Hi, I’m Samin (Sam)—and I’m really glad you’re here.
My journey into this work didn’t begin in a therapy room; it began with my own experience of change. As an immigrant of over 15 years, I’ve lived through the uncertainty, identity shifts, and emotional challenges that come with starting over in a new country. I’ve experienced different cultures, built a life across multiple cities, and navigated what it truly means to find a sense of home within yourself. Originally trained in electrical engineering, I made the decision during one of the most transformative periods of my life to follow a more meaningful path—one that led me to psychology and supporting others through their own transitions.
Today, I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO), licensed hypnotherapist, and certified life coach, with academic training from the University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, and Yorkville University. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity struggles, ADHD, and the complexities of immigration and life transitions. My approach is integrative and personalized, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and clinical hypnosis—always tailored to meet you where you are.
Beyond my clinical work, I’m also the founder of Where Is Home Media, a platform created to support Persian immigrants around the world, and the creator of Samtalk, a Farsi-language podcast focused on mental health, identity, and belonging across generations. At the heart of everything I do is a simple intention: to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered. Together, we can explore your patterns, reconnect with your sense of self, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and fulfilling.

“I have tried different therapists and coaches, but working with Sam has been the best experience so far. I am always amazed by her knowledge, advise, ways of conducting every session, being available for her clients, ways of managing her team, her vibes, and her healthy positivity. Pricewise, the price for each session sounds more than reasonable and she is flexible for the business. I highly recommend trying a session with her and her team, then you will get addicted to it.”
